This machine is one of a series used by a chest freezer manufacturer in the Middle East, and in this instance is used to punch hinge holes, foam holes, lock holes and handle holes in the lid panels.
There are six freezer models so the machine has to be quickly adjustable to be able to punch panels of different length and width using plastic coated pre-cut blank steel panels. After the first operation to punch
hinge holes, lock and foam holes, the panel is moved to a roll forming machine to have the flanges formed. The panel is returned to this machine to have the handle hole punched in the formed flange face of the lid
as it hangs down the side of the machine.
