Copper Bus Bar or Mild Steel strip Bending - Up To 10mm thickness

This bending unit is fitted with a 17 ton hydraulic cylinder and is used to bend rectangular strip such as copper bus bar of 6,5 or 10mm thickness, The strip can be 50mm, 100, or 150mm width. In this illustration, the component is 10mm thick x 50mm rectanguler strip used for bow top fence panel supports. The slots and cropping to length are carried out in another tool on the machine - custom built for a steel fencing manufacturer. At the start of the cycle the strip is held by a magnet to keep it in the correct position on the stops. Guards have been removed for clarity.
